standard hours solo drivers should have the right to decide on split rest periods of 5/2 or 6/1 that comply with total long rest of a major break as set out the diary ,it should be what the drivers needs at that time ,BFM drivers work under a different rest program ,however they should have the opportunity to split rest so long as they make the total hours of rest for the day at another time

trip programmers should not put pressure on drivers by putting time and place for rest periods in advance ,many unknown factors can make it impossible for a driver to comply ,and rest periods and where, should always be the discretion of drivers based on his events of the day
