The NTC is working with governments and industry on the biggest change to rail since electrification. Together we're supporting rail to operate as a single system. This will improve safety, lift productivity, drive down costs, support local manufacturing and grow a skilled rail workforce, while supporting the shift to net zero emissions. It is part of the National Rail Action Plan (NRAP), to make rail, simpler, safer and better able to meet the needs of our growing cities, regions and ports.
